Bach and Dupart in the suites and skillfully contrasts them. It is believed that Bach analyzed and consulted Dupart's suites when composing his "English Suites," and this album also highlights how underrated Dupart's work is.Marschuas-Baroque performs Dupard's suite in the conseil form described in the first edition of 1701, and juxtaposes it with a similar arrangement of Bach's suite, revealing the stylistic similarities between the two works. (In this work, Bach's "English Suite No. 2" follows Dupard in using a French overture for the introductory movement, which is followed by an armand.)*Recording: March 2023, Germany(Tokyo M-Plus)
