They are the originators and founders of heavy metal.After Ozzy Osbourne's departure from the band in 1979, Black Sabbath welcomed Ronnie James Dio, an absolute frontman who was active with Elf and Rainbow at the time, as a new vocalist. Black Sabbath has produced a number of masterpieces since the arrival of Ronnie James Dio as a vocalist, and now BMG has decided to reissue the albums from Ronnie James Dio's period. This time, BMG will reissue two albums released after Ronnie James Dio joined the band: the 1980 album "Heaven and Hell," which is renowned as a historic masterpiece, and the 1981 masterpiece "Mob Rules," which was released the following year. Both albums will be released as a 2-CD set and a 2-analog set, respectively, featuring the 2021 remastering of the original albums plus various additional bonus tracks.Released in October 1981 and certified as a gold disc, MOB RULES features such signature songs as "The Sign Of The Southern Cross," "Turn Up The Night," and the album's title track, "The Mob Rules." It is widely known as a classic metal album. The album also featured the addition of new drummer Vinnie Appice. The 2-CD reissue of "MOB RULES" contains many rare and previously unreleased recordings. In addition to the material from "BLACK SABBATH: LIVE AT HAMMERSMITH ODEON", the 2021 mix version of "The Mob Rules" and the entire 1982 performance in Portland, Oregon are also included. The Portland performance included the "N.B." song "The Mob Rules" from the 2021 mix version. This Portland performance includes great performances of songs like "Neon Knights," "Heaven And Hell," and "Voodoo.*The complete recording of the 1982 Portland show is only available on CD (the 2-disc analog version does not include the entire show).
